Common Questions
Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a factory.
What are your payment terms?
1. Mould fee: 100% prepaid T/T.
2. Sample: 100% prepaid T/T.
3. Mass production: 10% advance payment, 80% mid-term payment, 10% final payment (after product quality meets standards)
OEM/ODM
1. Customers provide drawings with 2D/3D files.
2. Customers provide samples, and our engineers will design the drawings.
Sample/Mass Production
1. Customers should pay the sample fee for customized moulds, and we will return all sample fees when the specified quantity is reached.
2. Usually we make samples to partners first to check their quality, and when they pass the test, we will do mass production according to the samples.
Shipping
1. Customers are responsible for shipping costs
2. For samples and small batch orders: by DHL/UPS/TNT/FedEx/etc
3. For large quantities (over 300 kg): by sea, air, rail, or dedicated line.
How do you get a manufacturing quote?
Zhengji Aluminum provides instant pricing and delivery time for your custom parts. There are two ways to get quotes and DFM feedback from our sales team.
1. Upload one or more 3D CAD files on our “Request for Quote” button
2. Send one or more 3D CAD files directly to ward@zjaluminum-cnc.com
In most cases, we will respond with a quote within 24 business hours after receiving the RFQ. If the quote is delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Who is responsible for my project?
Each project is assigned a technical sales manager and a lead project engineer who will be involved from project start-up to part delivery.
What file types do you support for instant quotes?
For a quote from Zhengji Aluminum,
①It is best to use a 3D CAD file in STEP, IGES, X_T, or STL format.
②2D CAD drawings with reference dimensions in DWG and PDF formats.
How do I know my design will remain confidential? (Non-disclosure agreement)
We always keep customer information confidential and have a strict policy in place within the factory. If needed, we can sign a non-disclosure agreement with customers who require this file.
What is your MOQ (minimum order quantity)?
Zhengji Aluminum does not have a minimum order quantity requirement. Our services can support you from one-off prototypes to medium and large-volume production.
How much import tax do I need to pay for my goods?
Import tariffs vary greatly from country to country, depending on the type of imported goods and national policies.
How soon can I get my parts?
Each process is different, depending on the part size, quantity required, and finishing requirements. Extrusion dies can be completed in 3-9 days.

What types of surface treatments does Zheng Ji Aluminum offer?
Our surface treatment options include Anodizing, Powder Coating, Spray Painting, Electroplating, Electrophoresis, Sandblasting, Polishing, Silk Screen, and Laser Engraving.
What are the advantages of choosing extrusion and CNC to manufacture my aluminum parts?
Choosing aluminum extrusion and CNC machining can efficiently manufacture complex parts and reduce material waste.
①Extrusion provides a flexible design and can be reused.
②CNC ensures precision processing and shortens the production cycle.
What tolerances can your CNC machines achieve?
Zheng Ji Aluminum can achieve tolerances as low as +/- 0.2mm″ according to the specifications and requirements of the drawings
Tolerances on aluminum will be held to +/- 0.005″ (+/- 0.127 mm) following ISO 2768 unless otherwise specified.
How long can I expect from the finished extrusion die?
It takes 7-9 days to complete. More complex extrusion dies will take longer.
How long will you keep my extrusion die?
We will keep your extrusion die in our die warehouse for a long time, and regularly inspect and repair it for reuse.

How does Zheng Ji Aluminum ensure the quality of my parts?
We take a proactive approach to customer’s quality concerns from the initial communication, providing cost-effective and rationalized advice on designs, materials, production processes, manufacturability, etc.
Once your order is confirmed, we will perform a full Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review to point out any issues that our engineers feel may affect the quality of your parts.
We have the ability to share inspection data with you in real time so we can work together to address any quality issues you may have during production. All incoming materials will meet your design specifications. Final inspection reports before shipment.
